By Plane:

Barcelona Airport (BCN).
International airport with flights to and from all major cities in the world. 2 hour drive to Els Lledoners de l'Empordà.

Girona Airport (GRO).
30 minute drive to Els Lledoners de l'Empordà.
Direct, low fare flights from Amsterdam on Basiq Air/Transvia.
Direct, low fare flights on Ryan Air from: Dublin, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Brussels, Paris, Eindhoven, Amsterdam/Rotterdam, Stockholm, Dusseldorf, Frankfort, Milan, Turin, Venice, Rome and other European cities.

By Train:

Figueres is the nearest train station with trains to and from Barcelona nearly every hour of the day. The Barcelona/Paris Talgo also stops in Figueres.

By Car:

From Barcelona:
Take the AP7 in the direction of France to Salida 6. When you come out of the pay station in Salida 6 take the C66 in the direction of Besalú/Olot.  Go past Banyoles and continue on until Besalú  where you make a right turn over the modern bridge onto the A26 direction Figueres.  Go apporximately 10 klms and turn right onto a road marked Banyoles, Crespià, Esponellà.  Go 1 klm and turn right onto a gravel road immediately when you come out of the forest at a sign that says El Castell.  Follow the gravel road to Els Lledoners and El Castell.

From France:
Take the AP7 in the direction of Barcelona to Salida 4. When you come out of the pay station in Salida 4 take the GIV 5128 in the direction of Besalú/Olot.  Continue on this road, past several roundabouts, until you reach the end of the road.  Turn left on to the A26 in the direction of Besalu / Olot.  After a few kilometres you will see a sign that says Banyoles to the left.  Take this left turn, Banyoles, Crespià, Esponellà and go 1 kilometre.  Just as you are leaving the forest take a right turn on to a gravel road.  There is a sign that says El Castell.  Follow the gravel road to Els Lledoners and El Castell.
